After moving to the mainland, I started realizing how easy it is to disconnect from your culture and identity when you’re away from the islands.

After having kids, that feeling became even bigger.

I started thinking more about culture, stories and values I want them to grow up connected to.

For a lot of Pacific Islanders living away from the islands, that feeling is familiar.

Thats a big part of why I created Tru Pacific
